Southern Class 455 Refurbishments

455/8 on jacks 455838 on jacks

Thanks to Mike Cook we are able to take a brief glimpse of members of Southern's  Class 455 fleet undergoing refurbishment at Alstom's now closed Eastleigh Works.  The two pictures below of internal work in progress   certainly show the car interiors stripped far more bare than even the vandals of South London have managed to achieve!

Mike Cook has now also given us a peek at South West Trains Class 455/7s being refurbished at Chart Leacon.
